PS Academy Sports - Get In The Game!
At PS Academy Arizona, we believe that every student should have the opportunity to experience the camaraderie, discipline, and joy that sports can offer. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete aiming for the all-state team or just starting out, you can get in the game.
Competitive Sports
We participate in the Canyon Athletic Association (CAA), offering students the chance to compete at a high level against neurotypical students from the 125+ Arizona schools in the league. These opportunities offer the best student-athletes a place to showcase their skills and teamwork on the competitive stage.
CAA Competitive Basketball
PS Academy is the first school for students with neurodiversities to join the Canyon Athletic Association and play solely against neuro-typical peers in charter or private schools.
The Bulldogs Basketball Team is very competitive and students who make the team work hard to hone their skills and work as a team to represent PS Academy.
Our basketball team competes against other CAA schools, fostering a spirit of competition and sportsmanship.

7’s (Football)
Our athletic program continues to grow with the addition of 7’s passing league, our second Varsity sport. This fast-paced contest focuses on the passing game, which challenges players to adapt and make quick decisions that help improve their overall football IQ.
With the addition of this sport, our football players will have year-round training that will help maximize their overall performance.

Flag Football
As the first varsity sport here at PS Academy Arizona, Flag Football has taken athletics to another level. Varsity allows our athletes to showcase their talent at the highest level of competition, while representing their school with pride.
Our program teaches the fundamentals of the game while focusing on the overall development of each athlete. We utilize different strategies to build and enhance skillsets that will help our athletes grow physically and mentally, in the efforts to help them achieve success.
With 5 wins in our inaugural season and 3 players receiving All-Region accolades, the future of this program looks bright.

Cheer
Our cheer team encourages fans to root for the PS basketball and flag football teams and adds energy and enthusiasm to each home game, boosting school spirit and fostering teamwork.
Our cheerleading squad is adaptive, ensuring that all students can contribute to team spirit and performances.
Adaptive Sports
For students who may not yet have the skills for CAA competitive teams, we have founded our own Special Olympics delegation, providing an excellent platform for all skill levels to participate and excel.

PS Academy now has our own delegation for participating in the Special Olympics, where students have the opportunity to showcase their incredible talents by competing in bowling, basketball, cheer, and track and field.

The Bulldogs' Bowling team offers a fantastic opportunity to develop bowling skills, make new friends, and engage in some friendly competition.
