The New Campus: May Updates!
As we continue working toward our deadline of opening up the new campus in July, we’re making significant strides in school improvements and customizations! We’re excited to announce that tours are now available to existing parents.
The latest campus updates
Plans are now with the city for the project
Sign design is taking place now
We are now hosting walk-throughs to those who are interested in the new building and its progress
All walls are framed, electrical completed in the walls, and plumbing has been run for the restrooms and classrooms
Fencing plans have been drawn up by the architect for review
Playground options are being researched to support our specific students by the education team
Gymnasium equipment is being reviewed to be purchased and installed (volleyball and basketball courts)
Sensory rooms are being discussed with the education team
The selection process for finishes is underway
We walked the site with Gilbert Fire for a threat assessment walk for the building. They send a report depicting what important safety items need to be added or put into place. They come back in June for another review. This came about because we attended a Town based meeting held at a local public high school. We picked Gilbert to have our school as the community is committed to safety and Autism.
