GIF Compilation from our Students in Digital Arts Class

This year, we’ve added multiple new electives and clubs, giving students the freedom and power of choice. This empowers them to find something extra-curricular to take part in that not only is fun, but appeals to them. Each elective and club is carefully created with one thing in mind – student interests. The new electives and clubs help students develop skills that can be applied to every day situations. Take robotics for example - students are working with technology, combining mathematics with science and technology… or career exploration, where they learn about their potential options after graduation… all of these classes allow students to “find their calling.”

Digital Arts Elective

In the Digital Arts class for example, students have learned how to bring their art to life. Here they not only develop their creativity, but also improve their ability to think outside of the box while having fun. This class is a modern way of teaching art, allowing students to make relationships between art, technology, and creativity. In this class they will learn how to sketch and paint using an iPad. They create everything on their own, using brushing, shading and coloring techniques. Once their masterpiece is complete, they bring it to life! Each frame is compiled into one short animation, thus resulting in a GIF. Here are a few of the most recent creations from our students!
