Seeing your student struggle in school can leave you feeling helpless. Finding the right school can be tough, especially for students who feel like they don’t “fit in” in their current school.

What causes students to be unhappy in their school?

It could be a number of things: educational programs are not aligned with their needs, they have a difficult time making friends, and bullying can be an issue.

Signs that your student is unhappy in their school:

  • Issues with mood or concentration

  • Decreased interest in activities that used to be pleasurable, like hobbies or socializing

  • Expressions of decreased self-esteem.

  • Changes in sleep patterns, either difficulty sleeping or excessive sleep

  • Decreased appetite

  • Falling grades

  • Poor hygiene

If any of these ring true for your student they may need a change in their educational placement.

Our parents have been through the process of finding the right school to meet their student’s needs. There are many factors to consider when determining the right school, including educational programs offered, transportation options, and the general philosophy of the school itself.

  • At PS Academy, we take bullying very seriously and pride ourselves on creating a safe and welcoming environment for students.

  • We offer many educational programs specifically designed for each individual student, offering both on-campus and virtual learning programs. All programs are designed to group students by ability, not age.

  • Along with our exceptional educational programs, we also offer over 20 clubs and electives including Rock Band, Sign Language, Girl Power, Student Council, Cake Decorating, Fashion Design, Dungeons & Dragons, Rocketry, Theater, STEM, and many more.

  • Last, but not least, we help you find ways to fund your student’s tuition.
